Hey everyone, me and a bunch of kart racers from around Norcal, Florida, and Australia have been going on xbox live and racing eachother in online karter tournaments. The current game is Forza Motorsport 3 using the Lotus 2-eleven tuned as a kart (single speed gear ratio/lots of castor/toe/camber adjustments, oh and only rear brakes). My gamertag is kart51. Anyone is welcome to join us!

Just got an Xbox 360. I'll check out Forza Motorsport 3 as I have to take my son to Gamestop to get some discs. Do you need to get a wheel and pedals (like Mad Katz)?
I think I need to go in and tweak my xbox accounts. I set mine up for my son and vice versa - he is now the parent (with my credit card!).

Alright. Got a used Microsoft wheel and it came with Forza 3 and DiRT! - all for the bargain price of $42. Been trying it out. Not that familiar with consoles so will need to enlist my sons help to figure out how to get that car and set it up. I am still on my trial of XBOX LIVE Gold - our (shared between me and my son) gamer id is Karter207.

 Congratulations!! the karting league hasn't happened in a few weeks but some of us are now competing in a R1 league called FormulaForza www.formulaforza.co.cc/index.php?p=home Be careful,,, it gets addicting... especially the fact that once you make the initial investment, it becomes free, no more broken tie rods, blown motors, or messy trailer to clean up;)

Ah - I thought these games where striving for being realistic!!
OK - I was wandering through the xbox pages looking for the Lotus under Free Play. Pretty different from my Colin McRae (RIP) stuff on the old xbox (Rallying was where my love of motorsports started back in the UK).
I need some serious practice - but first I have to find how to tweak the dead spots out of my wheel. I hope this is not a case of RTFM for me....
