Transponder Mounting Question

Hi All,

When attaching a transponder mounting bracket to a kart's side pod:

Does the post end (that has a small hole for the retaining clip) go toward the front of the kart, the back of the kart or does it not matter?

It doesn't really matter, they seem to work in any orientation. They are designed to have the post end upward, so the business end is pointing down at the track, but loads of people run them horizontally. I think the rules just say it has to be 12" behind the front wheel.
