We will hold a conference call Tuesday Oct 26 at 7:30 PM to go over the clone rules for 2011. The NFRA is not behind any one rules package, we just want to drive consistency across the region. We need at least one clone-savvy rep from each NorCal track that runs clones at their club.
Agenda items: (feel free to reccomend others)
1) Accept the 2011 AKRA rulset with local tire exceptions? 2) Junior classes - Lets help the clubs be consistent here. I'd rather not discuss what is faster than what, just what rules we should use at any track we run on. 3) Claimer or no claimer, any mods to claim rules? 4) How do we manage Light & Heavy? Suggestions have made to either split the class, or keep it all together with the lights having a restrictor vs so much weight.
I'll be the moderator.
If you are an NFRA member, the call in number for the conference call will be posted on the members only section of this forum the day before. If you are not a member and want to participate PM or email me and I will send you the call in details.

OK folks, I need suggestions of names to attend this call so I can contact them all over the weekend. Please offer up names but keep phone numbers in a PM instead of out in the open.

I'm sure we will have representatives from Dixon and Davis (Karl, Simon, Rich, Terry etc.) on the call and since we will be running at PC and Reno I think it would be a good idea to have Travis and Les (or someone to represent him) there as well. I've got Travis' phone number if you need it. Les won't be back in town until Monday as he is in Vegas attending the CIK race. I can give him a call if you'd like?

I'm not around next Tuesday, but like you say, if Karl can make it I'm sure he can speak on behalf of Dixon cloners.

Brad, When Dan and I travel down next year to race with you we might have two karts in tow, Dan's World Formula and my kart with a Clone engine on it. Hopefully the rules for both parts of the country are the same, we will be following the ( Clone) rules established by IKF at this time. Thanks, Bob,

I have not seen IKF rules yet, presumably they copied the AKRA rules used everywhere else in the U.S. (Even the WKA does that). The WF is no problem, as those rules were indeed copied by the IKF (originasl rules FIA/CIK).
