New to karting

Hello everyone!

I have Margay 2005 Brava 1.4 chassis that I've been putting together and learning every detail I can about for the last month...... Almost finished, woo woo!..

all i need is tires, front and rear metal bumper and Noram ge clutch! Oh yea and to cut and reweld the rear cross member to make the chassis an inboard drive setup! To bad I dont have Mig welder LOL Guess i better glue it...LOL

By the way Brad Hendrickson is one cool dude, hes been helping me along giving me guidance

Yea. I have to cut and reweld a peice of Chomoly tube. I ordered the peice of chromoly
Tube from Margay this morning. Same specs as chassis tube. The drawback is that as you know shipping delay. I wont get it till next week. sucks!!!!


Im thinking Wednesday UPS ground will deliver from Margay

What will it cost me to have that peice welded by the way?
Oh and I gotta leave outa town by wedneday evening and I want to present the finished gokart to my kids!!! Yes so basicaly im at UPS mercy for that small peice of Tube!!!

UPS just sent me the tracking info I will recieve all my packages by 12-21-2010 YESSSSSS!


I will plan on getting the work (welding) after work on that day

Actually David will have that tubing on hand, he is at the manufacturing site for Emmick Karts. They use the same stuff.

I got a walking boot for my foot, so you can bring your wheels over any time.
