Now that the holiday season is in the rear view mirror it is time to get ready for the 2011 season! We typically have a least one test session a year (a REAL one, not the bamboozle variety Mr Brad 42 tried to pull ;D) where we all head out to the track and work on setups, break-in motors, and generally shake the cob webs loose from the off season.
It looks like we will have a number of new drivers this year and you are welcome and encouraged to come out an join us. We'd be happy to provide any assistance we can to get you up and running as quickly as possible.
Trying to schedule anything outdoors time time of year is a crap shoot at best. I'd like to suggest either 1-22-11 or 2-5-11 as possible dates. While I'd prefer getting together at PC I realize that for many of us that is the furthest and most expensive in terms of practice fees. That leaves Dixon and Davis as the most logical choices.

Hmmmmmm, how bout Stockton??! Isn't much further for me to get to Stockton than it is Dixon and I think for some it might actually be closer. What are the practice fees down there? I thought of Davis and Dixon because most of our members are also members of at least one of those tracks (which means no practice fees for them).

Let me talk to Chris Ranuio and see about a reduced fee for NFRA members for a select weekend, normal fee's are $25 per kart, I will shoot for $10 and see what he sayes

I think we were waiting to hear back from Stockton to see if they are willing to cut us a deal. If not, I would think we would go to either Dixon or Davis so you guys that are members can practice for free. At this point I'd say we should shoot for this Saturday (1-22-11) and use the 2-5-11 date as a fall back date in case of rain.

Of course I don't actually write anything down but I do know it depends significantly on which track layout they are running. Seems to me that I've been down as low as 59 and up to 62.
So is everyone good for Stockton on Saturday then? Oh, and thanks for working out a deal for us!

I may just be doing kart assembly in the pits, but I'll come. I am going to a Stockton Thunder Hockey game that evening anyways.
