The best way to make it NOT rain is for me to stop preparing. When I am completely prepared, trailer loaded, and got a lot of sleep the night before, it rains and the races get cancelled.
I remember PC 2009 I was totally unprepared, left some of my stuff at home and had to go get it, registered late, it was raining a little, and the race proceeded as scheduled because the rain stopped.

Took your advice and worked on the Impala last night. But then I was weak and mounted tires. I'm sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

I am doing everything I can (nothing) to prevent the rain. My tires are still in the box. The side pod needs to be drilled for the starter. My numbers need to be changed. The seat is still not attached. And all safety wiring needs to be completed .
I see the rain moving away according to one weather site. Unfortunately, tomorrow I will start working on the kart. Hopefully my delay in preparing has pushed the rain far enough.

Sorry for the bad news!!
Race has been canceled due to weather.
its a 80% today and only going up. so to have maybe 2 hrs of no rain on sunday ....The club has called it.
They hope this will save you money on gas to get here.
We will be open for practice at 9 am tomorrow.
Please let me know if you would like another date.
hope you all have a wonderful warm weekend!
right now its beautiful at the track! ...its like why today and not sunday!

I have testing too do and will be at the track all day Saterday. I hope Donald, and Ron will still come out and join PJ and me. I need to pick up my NEW realy cool rear bumper. thanks to Tom! Do you have yours yet?

I might try a practice tomorrow. What time y'all planning on getting there? I'm not a member so will need someone there. I should really be practicing at Davis though (anyone going there Saturday??)
Now my three kart trailer is done (yay! - although I have a severe case of metalworkers fingers) I could bring my other 4-cycle out too.

Man I am bummed, I am on my way to Dixon anyway to practise. I have never ran that track and this is a good pre race run to find out what I have forgotten.
The weather report I looked at this morning and last night said showers for today and tomorrow?
