I can't make it to the track on Saturday so I was hoping someone could save me a pit spot. Any volunteers? Thanks in advance.

I'm planning on being there on Saturday and I'll pick up some spots for ya. Brad, are you planning on being there on Sunday? I thought I remembered something about a family thing going on that day? If I'm having a senior moment let me know and I'll get you one too. ;D

I will stop by Saturday hopefully to get a bumper. I will race on Sunday. I would like a pit spot with a kart lift, overhead lighting system, air pressure system for tools, and a refrigerator, please.

Sunday's forecast is going the wrong way. Now the chance of rain is 70%.

Yeah I think we are going to get wet. Looks like on Sat and Sun. It just occurred to me that we didn't build any rain dates into the 2011 schedule. If we do get rained out maybe we can replace this race with another Dixon race during one of the light periods of our schedule. ??

There better not be any rain. After work yesterday I purged the fuel line, adjusted the carburetor, connected the starter, and the engine immediately roared to life. Cracking the accelerator showed that at least the Low side was pretty darn close. First it scared the dog and then it scared the kids. It was soooo loud and the popping sound was sooo good, that it almost brought tears to my eyes. Then it did, because I realized I was in the garage with the door closed. (Cough Cough)

Hi guys! Well , if we call the race it will be done Friday late afternoon. Right now it looks like we will be canceling it. But, the call will be Friday. We don't want people driving with the cost of gas going up like it has and to be told no race after they get to the track.
Sooooooo...... I will post what is happening. Melanie will send out a e-mail to our members also. Sorry the rain is just causing trouble! to think we need rain!

Unfortunately the light periods correspond to the mulit-club races. The 9/11 race is worth considering as a replacement.
