That is going to be a tough one. The 3/4 of the forecasts I'm seeing are calling for rain...again (BTW, whoever is doing the rain dance, please stop). I've never seen Davis call a race prior to race day but if things really look crappy I suppose they might. ?? Otherwise, it will be show up on race day and see what happens. If this race gets rained out our next race isn't until 5-14 and that is WAY too long to wait to race. We'll have to look at adding something in April. I don't know if that would conflict with a Xover race or not but I for one am ready to go racing SOMEWHERE! ;D

Arrgggg!!! forecast looks like rain saturday for sure and some big systems moving through this week, wondering if the track will be a swamp even if it dosent rain sunday, and with no saturday practice in reverse the thought of me mowing the grass has crossed my mind, and the thought dosent thrill me, might have to ware my hip waders, but yes if it does get rained out we need to work on some other dates in April, I'm Jonesin here!

I'm bringing my snorkel and my overcoat! ;D I expect it to be cold and wet even if it doesn't rain that day...  I have a message in to Leo asking when they will decide the fate of the race...Saturday night or Sunday morning. |

Hey guy's.....the x-ovr race at PC was a real low-key event with only 6-8 Clones and not 'too' competitive. I do not think you would be dis-appointed if you were to make the Davis x-ovr one of your Club events.....and, i'm sure the Davis folks would be most appreciative....and, the points are pretty open at this time becuz it doesn't look like Ryan will make the last race at Dixon.

Hmmm lets see, A bunch of rusty drivers, possible cold,wet, damp track conditions, some brand new unfamiliar chassis, the different track layout and direction, first actually race of the season. Is anybody else a little worried?  I am so sick of rain Lets race |

A bunch of rusty drivers, ... Is anybody else a little worried? I take offense to you calling us "rusty". I am not worried or rusty. I already practiced in reverse . I think it was around April 2009. Or was it December 2008. I know it wasn't 2010. I think it was in my Supersportsman. Okay maybe rusty is the best way to describe it. The up side for me is my son practice in Kid Kart, in reverse a couple of weeks ago. I walked the track. Let's race. |

No rusty is what your Kart is going to be after sliding through the infield, not to mention muddy, a liberal coat of WD40 before the race should do the trick, that way when you get home and hit it with the power washer it comes off easy, at least it works on my dirt bikes, same concept right? wet cold and muddy? gee never been there before.

I tell you what, let's do this:
Let's all show up at Davis Sunday. If they say race, we race. If they say no race we trudge up the road to RPM motorports and race indoors. Since it is a scheduled race day, the RPM race counts for points.
Any takers?
