There is going to be a conflict between Prairie City and Blue Max (Davis) for May 17, 2009. Prairie City got rained out last week and moved their race to May 17, 2009, because they want to get a race in before the Crossover. Blue Max is still proceeding with the race on May 17, 2009.
I don't know if the clone racers have actually raced before but we invite all to attend at Blue Max.
I understand some of you came out to watch the Crossover. That is not the way a race was supposed to be run. And the upcoming race will be much better. We purchased new computers and equipment yesterday and will be testing it this weekend to make sure everything is functioning.
If you haven't raced before, and want to learn to race, this is the way to do it. It will be more personal and not as hectic. Bring your equipment up close near the bleachers so you can see everything and meet some great people.
If all clone racers know each other and have no races we can work with the Director to do a no "x" race, or something so you can learn the entire qualifying process, including gridding and starts. We can work with you to get through a race day so you know what it is like, so a more hectic race day will be less stressful.
If the turn out is low, with few classes, we could have some practice, qualifying, heats, and a main. You could get some really good laps in and have a not so hectic time doing it.
If you all know each other we can work with the director and tech to get you in and out in a friendly manner.
