After the last race, just to finish this thread in case someone needs information. Scoots it had a bearing inside with a washer on the outside as a spacer. It was identical to the Tomar.
FYI at race day it was binding a little while turning it on the stand. I ran it on the stand and it worked smoother. After racing, the gear driver is running just as smooth as the Tomar. Apparently it does not to break in a little to eliminate the minor binding. Thanks everyone for the help.
