Our schedule shows we're racing at Redding on 10/22, which is a Saturday. Is that true ?
I don't seem to be able to find a Shasta Kart Club website so have not been able to confirm for myself.

That should be the correct date. For some reason I can't find the SKC website anymore but that is the date that is also shown on the WCKers site as well.

Even though the main website is not operating properly, I found the following:
"October 22nd
Saturday Club race #8
With the Norcal Four-Cycle Racing Association
Track 1 9 am Start"

I sent a note to Dan Pelizzarri at Shasta Kart Club about October 22 Saturday race date, his response below;
Yes, according to Lane (copied above) he assures me that’s the date of our NFRA race….and our website is migrating to another host, so yes, it’s kinda operational!

OK, that's good to know. Do we know if the track will be open for practice on the Friday ?

It will be open on friday for practise. camping is avalable at the track, next to the airport motels in town are not that far. I was wondering if others were planning on camping?

I might camp again. Just checked average temps for Redding. Looks like lows in the mid-40s ..... better bring a blanket.

I'd like to get out of town by 8 (which means 9 lol). If anyone is interested in caravaning up count me in. Always nice to have some help in case there is some sort of transportation malfunction.
