As many of you already know, the Clonefest is coming to Davis next weekend. What follows are excerpts from emails Chris Scribner and I were trading yesterday...
"Brad, trying to get some racers together for the clonefest at bluemax on october 2nd. Would like to see your guys there as well. We are doing something different. Its a one lap qualify (fast time gets $100 from me) and a 45 minute race. Im donating some rear bumpers and Leo has some other cool stuff to give away, winner gets a clone engine. Hopefully we can make it a good day for bluemax and a fun day for the racers."
"The NFRA is invited. Please let all your racers know. I can also loan an extra engine to any NFRA World Formula that would like to race, so feel free to post this on your site. Free food for the Clones, but most importantly this is a "FUN" day. When I was young I remember how much fun Karting was, im trying to bring that fun back. Anything I can do to entice more of your guys to come out, let me know."
Rich had mentioned that he was considering running in the Clonefest. If any NFRAer is planning on racing I'll be there to help in the pits and support their efforts.
