OK all you WF owners, I am really new to this, I purchased A WF from a guy in Calgery He told me that it was jetted for 3300' and it is hot and dry. I ran the engine and it idles fine ane runs ok up to about quarter throttle, When I go half to full throttle quickly it falls on its face. I checked the mainjet and it is a 96 which is what briggs uses from the factory. Are you guys using a differant set up? ? Any help on this would be appretiated greatly. Dean

I don't have a WF (I have F200 and KT100) but it sounds like it is too lean. It needs fuel to run wide open. When my karts start and idle good it is bad. Because when I give them throttle they bog. Once I richen them, and they are hard to idle, they run good.
My son's Kid Kart acted the same. Idled great but bogged on accelaration. I cleaned the jet and it worked great. There was not any dirt in it but a lot of fuel buildup like shellac. I had to clean it every other session. But once I got a tiny, tiny drill bit to clean it out, it worked great, and has worked ever sense.

Dean, welcome to the "really new at this" when it comes to WF club. I'm running the Briggs factory jet (which if you say is 96 then that's what I'm running) and haven't had any issues yet. I know the idle jet can become somewhat obstructed and will cause to not idle well, if at all. If the main jet doesn't have any crap in it could it be a float level issue do you think? Terry Ives would be the person to ask. Or, if Luis jumps on the board he may have some insights as to what the problem may be.
What track did you take your WF to?

Well I moved the C clip down one notch and that seemed to help some. I am going to keep foolin around until I get it right. Still havent taken it to the track so I really dont know exactly how it will do. Brad what time does the race start tomorrow? I am going to try to drive out to check it out.

Engines start at 9:00 a.m., and we run 'til we are done. Hoping to get done before the temperature really peaks.
