Looks like they are limited to the number of karts per run group, so we might have to decide reasonably quickly if we're going to this. The website says ... "4 run groups of 35 per group the grid will fill fast so don’t wait to enter"
I'll need to read the policy on rain. Rain in March is certainly a high probability and I don't want to invest in rain tires, etc.

You dont invest--- in tires, you get them to race or you dont and you stay home thinking about all the money you have saved. IMO thanks, scott

Simon, Roger Miller posted his NCK address on the forums. He would know, or know who would know the starting point for LS
I used a 21 at Infineon

OK, so who's going?
I know weather might be a factor, but I'm going to try no matter what. I have not been on that track in almost thirty years.

I'm sorry to say I'm going to have to skip this, some unexpected large bills have come up so I think I'll just be focusing on sprint racing for the next few months.

I thought you might remind me of that Scoots ! ;-)
To be honest, my racing priorities for the year are : 1) NFRA Sprint races 2) find another sprint chassis 3) Some road races 4) If time and money permit some car track time equal 4th) try some dirt kart races
I'm failing on 2) and 3) so not sure if and when I might get to 4).

I'm pretty much on track with what Simon said, with the exception of 2 & 4. I am not planning on getting another chassis until I break mine. Although, watching you bounce around the track makes me think that a dirt track is tougher on chassis and sprint or RRing. In the same vein of conserving my chassis, I'm also thinking that having never been on dirt (with others that haven't either if we did it as a group) I'd have a increased chance of wadding up my stuff...which I don't want to do. I know you really like the opportunity to win money depending on how you do finish Scotts, but to be honest, I couldn't care less about winning money. That isn't why I race. It's all about racing with my buddies. Now, having said all that, at some point I would like to give it a try because it does look like a ton of fun.

If you are racing Rich, the best of luck to you. Looks like it should be a nice day down there. I'm sure you'll be having more fun that I will be. I'll think of you ever time I cuss out Microsoft when things start going wrong. LOL
