When it rains it pours. I still have to finish my kart. Still have not received new nose.
But now I have to go through my son's Kid Kart with a fine tooth comb to get ready for PC XOver. He flipped in the Main on Sunday at Blue Max in the final lap. Steering linkages checked and replace. One tie rod hanging on his wall in his room as a trophy.
Steering wheel is bent, not sure about the column, but it appears okay.
I will probably arrive & drive on Saturday.

I have also started preparations for Reno.
The clone motor is off, wheel hubs moved, starter battery charged and mounted.
What is the suggested gearing for Reno's main course?

He's fine. He's looking forward to the XOver in PC. He still wants to go to Reno with me. I'd post the video showing the cause of the accident, but remember, I can't even load a single picture.  |

Who do we need to check with to make sure the gates will be open on Friday ?
It would be a bummer to arrive on Friday on not be able to get in.

More news from over the hill...
Here’s an overview for Reno-
Track open all day Friday, lights will be on only for an hour Friday evening (until 7:30-8 pm)
Saturday-
Track open @ 8 am practice until 1 pm…then track is closed
Registration 1:30-3:30, racing starts around 4:30 pm
Sun goes down around 6:30, so under the lights then
Should wind up around 10 -10:30 pm

Just when I thought I was safe and nothing else could possibly break as I was 150 miles away from the kart track ......
BANG!! Right hand leaf spring snaps on the trailer on 680 just before Benecia.
.... at least no oil fell out ;-)
