Some of us talked about trying out Shifter Karts. I'm up for it! I found this link: www.racekartsinc.com/Looks like approx. $450 for a two hour session. Two hours would likely turn me into a mass of quivering jello. Maybe we could get a special "NFRA" deal if enough of us wanted to do it. What dou you all think? Any others interested?

Ouch, a bit expensive. For that amount of money we could all throw in $500 and buy our own ! (Just don't let Rich go first because he might break it. ;-) )

We can talk to Jeremy or Steve. They can put us in touch with shifters. Jeremey was at the track today. There were three shifters practicing. I would also recommend that I not drive first either. There is no rev limiter and I have a habit of taching it high.

Yeah Steve said we could take his for a spin (not sure if he meant figuratively or literally) when we were talking after the second night race at Dixon. Since Ron tends to lose parts I suggest that he go last...of course when he sees Rich driving through the infield (like he did in BOTH my kart AND Simon's kart at Stockton...not to mention his own kart on a regular basis ;D)that might end the test session right there so those two would have to go last. LOL
But as we've all said, hopping into a shifter would be a kick. I'm guessing all I'd need could be 2 ten minute sessions and I'd be DONE!
