So just as we have the tee shirt artwork finalized, it looks like we have a problem with the schedule.
I heard from Janet at Prairie City that the 10/27 date is actually their rain date should one of the first 6 races get rained out, so it's not a given that race will be run.
As we want more than one race at PC, the only alternative I can come up with is this ....
- cancel the Atwater race on 6/30 and replace it with the PC club race that same day.
- add the Atwater club race on 7/21 so we still have 2 Atwater races as well.
Anyone have any comments on that plan ? I like that idea as it plugs a big hole in the middle of our summer schedule as well.

Bummer. Unfortunately I can't make a 7/21 race.

July 21, 2013 is the Tri-County race at Stockton (i.e. Crossover). If I am in town I will be taking Daniel to Stockton. It can also be a drop, but I understand that you want to get as many people as possible racing.

I'll keep looking to see what we can juggle. The alternative was to have 3 races back to back, which I also thought would reduce the number of participants.

If it is your only option, and I am the only one with a Crossover participant, I say go for the July 21, 2013, race. It is what it is.

Maybe we can talk it over this weekend when we get together?

A simple solution is to just go through the PC race dates and see if one works to just add it in. Unfortunately most dates are on top of other club races. Howver, August 4, 2013, does not conflict with any other club. We can just add that one in for PC, and take out the October 27, 2013, race.
As an amendment to my post, FYI, I just found out that the August 4, 2013, race is the Crossover (Tri-County race) at PC.

The other downside to that plan is that would make 3 consecutive weekends of NFRA races. PC, Redding (night), Dixon (night) which sounded a bit excessive.

I didn't say it would be "easy" or not "excessive". Everyone keeps forgetting I always try to go simple. FOr my life I like the statement "Keep It Simple Stupid". I have so much going I don't have time to make things complex.
