So, I found an Emmick kart for Jonah and picked it up Saturday. It even had a WF engine on it! That's the good news. The unfortunate thing is this guy did only road racing so he has this DINKY axle on the kart. It has to be either a 30mm or an 1 1/4". I have an axle and a sprocket carrier but I am short the 40mm brake carrier, cassettes and a mediumish seat. I'd also love to find long hubs. I have short ones but I find long hubs easier to adjust. If anyone has anything on the list, please let me know! BTW, I still want to send Brad's kart off to a good home if anyone has someone looking for a good Margay. ;D

Is it a full size kart? I have not seen a full size kart with a 30mm or 1 1/4 axle. FYI, Energy kart at old Kartel has used stuff and has some good deals.
Why not just let him run it as is right now. Does it appear complete and functioning?

Definately complete and functioning. I guess I could let him run it and change out later. I just don't have any of these parts if they go kaboom.

Personally I wouldn't worry about the axle. Back in the day ('06-'07) Tim used to run his F200 on an Emmick with one of those little axles. Wasn't an issue whatsoever.

Ok. I'll start him out that way. I think I'm so used to the thicker axles that I was like WHOA what's this??? I'm still screwed if he breaks anything but that's life, right?
