I'll be there ! I'm completely unprepared as well. Frantically getting my new kart together ... time consuming stuff ... lot's of little things to deal with.

Simon, Do you have the length of that steering shaft? Everyone, How do you all attach the battery carriers-clamps, nuts/bolts? Velcro  |

I don't Terry I'm afraid, but I don't need one for the weekend (that's the old kart that's bent). I'll measure it tonight anyway in case Sam has something I can use.
Battery ? I don't need no stinkin' battery !

How do you all attach the battery carriers-clamps, nuts/bolts? Velcro I add a weight, and pull the rope. Less work. |

I understand but for the kids I'm trying to make weight and the battery helps.

I'll be there. I've got to say I'm shocked and appalled at some of the responses in this thread. Not ready? WTH?? Did someone schedule the season for a different part of the calendar or something? Did you not know the season was starting???
Now, where is my motor??? Hmmmmm, don't see it attached to the kart...dangit! Oh Lord, and my tires have this strange cellophane around them. What does that mean? Ron??
