Heading up on Friday morning. I'm going to be touching base with our friends in Redding to see what they are up to. I know Jeff said he was interested and it would be great if we could get Dan up there for some fun too!

Oh say it ain't so. What is your definition of a reasonable hour? Even if you don't get there till midnight we'll still be up (in fact, Rich and Ron will most likely just be heading out for their second heat). Come on man, we are talking Reno here...

Thanks Brad. Due to the limitations of the board (ie; you cannot hear me croaking) you are unable to realize that the likelihood of recovery allowing my ability to keep up with the ready wit and banter of the NFRA, much less lift and haul 2 karts for a day, is vanishingly small. Therefore, while I appreciate the well wishes I think my butt will remain down here in the lowlands. (There might also have been the small consideration that my wife flat out told me I would be "dead meat if you go racing while you are sick like this" as well.) I'll see you all at the next roundup!

Well, things at work have conspired against me and I'm going to have to bail on this weekend. Basically we have some catchup to do and have asked our engineering team to come in on Saturday to get some stuff done. It would look pretty bad if I took off Friday lunchtime to head out of town for the weekend, so I'm out I'm afraid.
