Redding Night Race Roll Call

Simon- YOU CANT MISS THIS RACE! Find a driver, sleep on the way up, and we'll even prepare the chassis just right. Heck, the race begins at 8 pm, runs until midnight. Who works on a Saturday evening, into a Sunday morning??? I'll qualify for ya, so you can work, then the talent can race the balance of the evening.

You can qualify for Simon as long as it is in LAST place. Oh, wait, you don't have to qualify for him, we will just put Simon into last place?

So racing starts at 8pm. Is that the first practice session?

I am trying to determine when to come to the race. Is there practicing during the day on Saturday from __am to when?

Practice is open all day Saturday, IT'S GONNA BE COOL TOO! There will not be any practice after registration (think 5 PM practice is closed) the thought is that all will be dialed in, so we'll move right to racing.

My conflict isn't actually work related for a change, this time it's a social calendar clash. A friend in Wisconsin has his 40th birthday next weekend, so we're off to rural (very rural) WI for the weekend for a couple of days of fun there.

I'm bummed I'm missing the inaugural Redding night race. I even got all the crash damage fixed on the yellow kart for Daniel to drive as well. (What's really odd is that I have no recollection of crashing that kart, how the hell did it end up like that ?? ;-) )

Anyway, I should be back in action for Dixon the week after. I can feel my neck hurting already.

That is odd. I wonder who could have driven that kart and left it like that. When was the kart last used?

Sorry to hear that some cannot attend, that stinks! SKK worked a deal w/ IKF earlier this year, allowing each participant to gain a "punch" that can be used to compete in the 2014 Grand Nationals in Medford, 2014...just a thought. Here's the night's schedule. Friday, track will be open to camping, closed to practice as we set up lights. Practice open Saturday @ 8 am, through 5 pm. Race registration from 5 - 6:30pm, Drivers mtg @ 7:00. First group on-track at 7:30 pm, 5 laps for qualifying for each class, then first of two heats & a main to follow. NFRA BBQ planned for the heat of the day @ my place, bring your swim trunks.
