I'm gonna take a wild guess: thinking track positioning sucked due to starting in the back of the pack. Then, weaving your way through made you feel like a hero, but not nearly enough time to catch the rabbits out front?

Dan, You just about nailed it. We volunteered to start in the back. We did not want to affect their points, we wanted to avoid any clone mayhem, and your right it was fun to start in the back. We had a basic two lap rule on the start before we could pass anybody.
The clones still affected the outcome several times. Going three wide on the front straight. Weaving all over when battling between themselves. It made me glad I no longer raced in that class. I got behind a three way clone battle that slowed me down then Ron when right by me on the inside.
The clone drivers were all cool, they are just used to racing that way.

I guess that's why I won. Rich, you were not behind that three way battle when the problem ensued. You started behind them, then they started hitting each other, the front runner was turning to gesture at them ( I guess that is their racing style), and then they slowed dramatically and when one flew left and one appeared to slam on his brakes you ended up behind the fron t guy with a clone on your tailpipe. I drove by wondering what you were doing playing with the clones rather than just coming off to the side and driving past them.
