I finally started editing this down. I only have Heat 1 done so far, but thought I would post it just in case Rich had forgotten how he single handedly created a Jr Clone scrapyard on the inside of turn 6. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGMqZ8WdLAU

I'm unable to view the video. Is some secret code needed?

OK now! Real good video and editig Simon! Are we sure that wasn't Clint Bowyer in that '19' car(?) It sure looked like that guy was trying too 'manipulate' the race so maybe he cud 'win' later in the Main....he sud be penalized 300 pennies and be pro-rations of Coors! For some reason, i'm looking forward to see the Main! BTW...I found my helmet and driving suit....you guy's are probably 'safe' next time out...

Nice job there Simon. I can't wait to see the main either (where I take MYSELF out).
This may not be popular, but, I think the take away on that video is you don't want to spin yourself out. The clones got a bad rap that night but from what I could see Simon was only just barely able to miss the 19 and the clones (I think they were mostly X drivers in that part of the pack) didn't have any place to go or the skills to avoid the mayhem....speaking of mayhem....ITM on the 19!!

I blame the #9 for obviously brake checking the #19 mid corner and causing him to go around ;-)

The clones got a bad rap that night /// They still get a bad rap from me as that si what caused my accident. Clone took himself out in front of Brian who tried to avoid and spun, and then I get taken out. All within about 20 feet, in a split second. I am still looking at broken parts and am still angry.

That's it!!! next time I am just using the kart in front of me for brakes Slower karts in front of us. Junior clones behind us. What is a World Formula to do? I could of done a better job of anticipating the track in front of me.

Ummmm, I just looked at the video again. It wasn't #9 that brake checked the #19. The kart had no number on the back, so is impossible to identify. That guy should have been DQ'd ! ;-)

I blame the #9 for obviously brake checking the #19 mid corner and causing him to go around ;-) Brake check?? BRAKE CHECK??!! Who uses breaks in that section of the track?? Oh wait.... In my experience if you stomp on the brakes with the amount of steering input you have going around a 180 degree turn you WILL go around. Queue Rich's pirouette...sorry Rich. ;D No, my preference is to use expert throttle modulation to remain exactly 1.75 inches behind the slower kart(s) I'm stuck behind (Jeff and Ron). hehehehe As the video clearly shows there was one point where I crept withing 1.5 inches of Jeff but I was able to drop 16 RPMs for 65 milliseconds by increasing steering input by a half a degree which put me back to my preferred 1.75 inches. I hope this clears things up.... Now, where is the shot of ME pulling a bonehead maneuver in the main??!!

Holy Crap! On a few occasions, the race looked a bit like a rugby scrum, trying to inflict harm on the another? Some of the driving lines exhibited were brutal (WF excluded) demonstrations of complete disregard for another kart being close. The "chopping down" effect is consistent w/ the X's on-track. Thinking Ron should have duct-taped Dave Brandt, locked the gridperson in a porta-potty, then pushed WF's to the front of the line? Guessing the mess you see in the garage now just might have fared better. Good work Simon on the video, along w/ driving deeper into turns than most, while Jeff took the safest line around the track. The 14 was all about survival skills, looked kinda like a Sunday drive?

The 14...looked kinda like a Sunday drive? Hey now, there ain't nothing wrong with Sunday drives! Next you'll be calling him Grandpa....wait a minute, ain't he the grandpa that sent his grandson out into a race without enough gas to actually finish!?? Yeah, I bet that was him....

Hey Brad....I gotta scope out ur kart and see how/where you are hiding that 'telemetry' data recorder! I've always known that WF was too rich for my pockets! "Ron"....look for 'new' parts....broken one's won't help...

Ron....look for 'new' parts....broken one's won't help... I simply have limited time. Since September 28, 2013 (18 days), my boys have played in 2 baseball tournaments (9 games total), 6 Fall Ball baseball games, and attended 7 two to three hour practices. This last weekend alone my 9 year old played in 5 games over the course of Saturday / Sunday and they finished in second place, against 11 year old teams. Baseball has fortunately / unfortunately taken over my life.
