I see the one at Sears Pt/Infineon/Sonoma Raceway just got cancelled. Can't find anything on the Syd White Memorial 2014 either.

I would not expect any news on the Syd White Memorial race for a while yet. Last year it was late Feb and I don't think they announced the date until early in the New Year.
Who's planning on racing it ? I had a lot of fun last year, very different to any other kind of race.

Who's planning on racing it ? I had a lot of fun last year, very different to any other kind of race. I'm giving it some thought as a reliablity test for the "Pro-Clone" engine package. However the 'cost' involved might make it prohibitive too do....(that's a 450ml trip for me). If I can get drivers too sign-up....it 'can' happen. |

Trying to get something together but I have all the wrong types of karts and bits right now plus Nov 30th is so close and deep in Cyclocross season for me. Sonoma Raceway said they might be able to pull something together in the spring but for now it's off the calendar (both the 2-stroke and 4-stroke events).

Hang on, I think we're all talking at cross purposes here. The Syd White Memorial is the enduro race that Monterey Bay Kart Club hosted the last couple of years on their sprint track.
Road racing at Sonoma Raceway is one one the NKC events and is road racing on the big tracks, not an endurance race.

Memorial race weekend planned. Put it on your calendar, hopefully you can clear everything else? We’ll hope to RAISE-THE-BAR!
MG tires will be used…same as last year, and last year’s rules- (guessing little change)

Those interested in getting an NFRA entry together, raise your hand. After last year's glorious last place in class, we can only get better !
We need drivers, crew, providers of kart, motor, etc.
I'm happy to put my trusty old yellow kart out there again but it might need some TIG welding to fix the cracks we made in the seat mount attachments it last year. The seat mounts have also been set to 'skinny' as Daniel was driving it.
If the race format is the same as last year we should reconsider our strategy.
Let me know who's in and we can get the ball rolling.

I'm in for whatever is needed: pit, spectator, driver, etc. Do we use Brad's engine? Alternatively, if Simon wants to refresh the one we ran last year, we can run it.
