On Facebook there were several clone racers that were talking about coming. Whether or not they do is up in the air.
The axle and brake rotor issues are fixed on my kart after the incident in Reno. I still have to work on the front end of the kart. In Reno I did not realize the amount of damage that was caused.

I am running depending on the status of my kart repairs. Also I have to be in Elk Grove for a work related matter at 6:30 pm on 11-30 so if I go i may have to leave early.

Update: Tie rod destroyed. Steering shaft destroyed. Spindle destroyed. Some parts I have, and I just ordered other parts. When parts are received I will install and check for other problems. I think I should actually test the kart on a track before taking to Sonoma, what do you think?

I agree on the testing Ron, but...if you can't, cud it be 'bad' enough too miss this race? We can thrash at the track if need be! I hope too test at PC tomorrow and then I have to pull my motors down b4 the race.

Kart is going together but I am running out of time. Rear axle and brakes replaced, master cylinder repaired, and front spindles replaced. I still need to replace the tie rod.
I've been waiting for my steering shaft. Talked to supplier today and it is no longer available. However, they are expediting a replacement. I hope it works.
What driver is needed?

I would recommend Sebastian Vettel.

A ratio of +- 2.90 is about right. 22/64. 21/61 although I ran a couple more teeth last year.
Great one Simon ;D
I am not going to do the Friday night thing.

We would have world formulas blowing up all over the back straight at Sonoma if we could. It is the never ending gearing question. Remember Sonoma is actually a handling track. The back straight is a long time on the limiter but rest of the track is up hills and slower corners. I have had faster times gearing for the uphill than the back straight
