I know its a bit early but who is planning on racing in Reno? I definitely plan to be there unless there aren't enough F200's that will make the trip. Let's try to figure this out fairly early so we can get the hotel situation squared away. thanks,

I scratched that one from my schedule at the beginning of the year due to a confliict. That conflict is still there so I won't make Reno.

Hotel??!! That's for the high dollar guys! I'll sleep at the track... IF my F200 motor is working fine, IF I hook up with BradW for tires and clutch, and IF the F200 is not too fast for me, I am planning on racing F200 with you at Reno... IF no F200s are going to show, then I'll run my Weak and Underpowered Animal instead... IF the F200 is too powerful, and I am too much of a wuss, I am going to buy a clone, instead...

If there is a clone class my son's and I would like to race reno with you guys , Plus we would also stay at the track with Paul, but that would be just to keep him company and give him a bad time.

I know I'm going and John as well. While it is very nice to be able to head to a hotel and catch a shower after a long day of practice I'm planning on staying at the track this time.
I'm going to shoot Brian an email and confirm what the fee structure is going to be for this race. Last time they were SOOOO good to us (no fee for practice, member rate for race entry, AND a BBQ lunch!) I almost feel spoiled.
Duffy, as Paul said, if you guys go up there you will most certainly will be able to race. Do you think Paul, PJ and Sammie might head up there too?

I wonder if we can pitch a tent at the track?

I can't recall seeing any tents but that doesn't mean they aren't allowed.. I'll ask Brian. Although, the winds there can be "brisk" to say the least. Last time we were there we had a easyup flying contest. A good number of them didn't make the return trip home. Tents wouldn't quite have the areo of an easy up but I'd imagine it could get interesting. I'll be sure and keep the video cam handy in case I see Paul rolling across the desert terrain zipped up in his tent. LMAO!!

You know, if there are any big truck stops near, they have showers... But, if not, that's what a jug of water and a washcloth is for!

I did see one dome tent last time, I think it was the "kids room" for a family in a motorhome. The wind dies to almost nothing at night, I was in Rick's pop up camper. I think the whole F200 class except the Bowermans took a shower in Brad's hotel room last year, that worked prety well. Then down to the buffet afterwards...yum yum.

Brad, glad to here you doing better, graet to see your back in the saddle......If you are saying the Reno race was an experience; I would have to say a positive one from my prospective. Goog weekend, no major issues and everything went well, the key component to doing well on that track is " limiting your off track excerssions" which we realized on the first lap of practice when Brad tried to take flight in his kart. Out of eleven F200's that showed I dothing I herd one negative comment everyone had a graet time.....

So what I'm seeing here is 2 WF's, maybe 2 F200's, and the clones. Doesn't bode well so far. I'll call Dave Gwin to see if he's going. Can someone contact Scott Smith to see if he is planning on making it? I don't have his number or email. -PV#99

He wasn't aware that we have our own schedule so by the time you talk to him Paul he may have an idea if he can make it. I'll call Scott tomorrow and see if he is up for another trip over the hill. May also call Tim since his kart/f200 still hasn't sold and it would actually be a short trip for him considering where he lives. Randy raced with us up there last year as well. His kart needs some work but if he can get some help with that he might be game. Ron, are you going to head up to Reno? Dean should have his WF ready to rock well before the Reno race. We ran with a WF at the night race last year and I think I still have his email address so we may have as many as 4 WFs. Oh, and I almost forgot, I've been talking to the guy who bought the 17. He actually called me to ask if I knew anyone that migth want to buy it. Seems he and his buddy got into karting but his buddy had to step away from the sport. I told him that rather than selling it he should bring it out and race with us. LOL Might see him this weekend out at Davis. So who knows, there may be more there than ya think.
