Hi guys,
Race #1 is next weekend. Who's going to Atwater ? Reply here and lets get a kart count.
I confirmed with Sean that we can camp in the pit on Saturday night as well.

I have to put my stuff together. Engine is still in the box. I have a school function, as usual, the night before our first race. It never fails.
I am not sure when I can get there, but it would be the morning of the race. I may just have to drop to the ground and race. Does anyone know the website for the track for the racing information. I keep coming up with winged kart racing or dirt racing. I need signup times and start times so I can try and get there on time.

Does anyone remember the gearing we ran there last race ? You would think I could remember that considering that was the last race of our season just last year

Dang it Dan. I have to hit the ground running with no prep time, no practice, and a hangover. You then give him all of the tuning information. The upside for me is your information is from 2010. Those numbers are night and day from my day of winning 2 years ago. I'm just sayin'.  |

Yes, I'll be there Ron. I just emailed the Jerry and Sean at the club to see what the late arrival policy is with the gate locking etc.
UPDATE : We'll make sure you can get in if you are arriving in the middle of the night. Call me on Saturday to let me know your plans.
Here's the timings for race day.
Sunday gates Will open at 7am.
Drivers Meeting @9 am
Practice Starts @9:30am

Because I cannot predict what I am going to do I will come to the track on Sunday morning, assuming I don't feel real bad.
It is a school auction and there is alcohol involved. I typically do not drink at these functions when it is the day before a race, but you never know. Sometimes people buy me drinks. If I am running late Sunday morning I hope I can check in late. It's not like we are prepping for the Daytona 500.

I will be there on sat and sun. I might camp with my motorhome if it comes out of the shop. That places does not seem big enough for motorhomes. Me with the trailer on is like 50 ft long. We can leave the trailers there Sat night
