Sorry to hear you won't be there Brad...your bro doing ok? Yes, I am planning on heading out to the track on Friday and snag some spots. The only caveat is I am technically on jury duty this week. If I have to actually report to court on Friday that will be a problem. I've talked to Gary about the official procedure for reserving spots and hopefully we won't run into the same problem this weekend as we did last time we raced at PC where our markers were being ripped off. One thing I didn't ask Gary was if there is a problem with me reserving a BUNCH of spots. If you want a spot, say so in this thread and I'll do the best I can. And for any of you jokesters out there that plan a repeat of the Dixon race where you took the spot I reserved for myself and moved my name to the spot I had taken the time to reserve for YOU, do so again at your own peril....  |

I need one spot if you can. It will be interesting given the numerous rules on karts, trailers, parking, no parking, etc.
I also just realized I have to work on my kart AGAIN. I had the Dixon gear and now have to change it. Ughhh!

There's a bit more to it than that, and if you'll recall, I had only moved there 10 minutes earlier at Scott's urging, as I was blocking your entrance, anyhow. Further, if you'll recall, I offered to immediately move out and let you have your marked spot. My original spot was behind the bleacher, which proved to be useless... |

If someone would be so kind to mark off two pit spots for the three of us, John # 24, Mike #101, & myself Duffy #48. I will try to get out to the track on Friday also. If I do get out to the track I would need a name & kart number posted before Friday noon. If I don't see your name and number I'll mark a spot for you.

Sorry to hear you won't be there Brad...your bro doing ok? For those that don't know (which is probably everyone but BradW) my younger Brother had a 95% blockage in the main left artery of his heart, and had open heart surgery and a double bypass last Wednesday. The good news is that it was caught BEFORE he had a heart attack (as it would have been a fatal one). The bad news is he looks like somone hit his chest with a chain saw and then put a zipper in. The worse news (for me at least) is that the particular issue he had is genetic, my dad died from it, and my brother certainly would have if not for an incredible stroke of luck. So the next couple of weeks I am spending quality time with him as he recovers in Los Banos, and getting a battery of tests done on myself to see where I am at on this issue. Karting will take a back seat for me for a bit. |

So sorry to hear about your brother, You will be missed at the races by us. But I do understand, after having all that done to me awhile back, The whole zipper thing. Spending quality time with with your brother is so cool. Good luck and take care . Duff

Alright guys I am jumpin in this time,(first race). I will need a spot if someone could be so kind to reserve one for me if possible for Dean #33 and Pat #26. Not really sure how the pit spaces work i.e how many karts can you fit ?. Thanks

BradH - I didn't know about your brother. I sincerely hope he is on the road to recovery. Good job getting the tests for yourself. Hopefully you'll be able to make out to the track later this year.

Glad to hear he is doing well Brad. We'll miss you out there this weekend and will be thinking of you and your 'lil bro.  So I made thru one more day without having to go to jury duty. If I can make it thru tomorrow without having to report I'm done. If I don't have to report I'll be out there first thing trying to snag spots for us. At this time folks needing spots are: Paul F200 Ron F200 Dean WF Pat WF Simon BSC Duffy BSC Mike BSC John BSC Luis WF Luis' bro (maybe) WF BradW WF Simon BSC Randy? F200 Puddles? F200 (doubtful as he can't get his carb out of the shop) Scott? F200 Did I miss anybody?? How bout the other Dixon BSCs? Again, I'm going to try and get spots for everyone but if Gary has a cow about me reserving 11 spots all bets are off. lol Assuming I can get everyone a spot I'll put together a little sheet showing which of the outside reserved spots your spot is across from. I'll make sure Gary has a copy of the pits we've reserved so when some yahoo starts yanking our tape (like they did last time we raced at PC) we have some sort of record that we had previously snagged the spots. I don't know about your guys but I am PSYCHED about this weekend!! WoooooHOOOOO! |
