As long as the weather cooperates I'm planning on making it. Nor-cal WFs? Most of those guys ARE Norcal WFs. I race with most of them every RR. Last time I talked to Anton he was planning on making it (F200 I assume) with Leo driving his WF.
You planning on making it?

Brad
I will for sure be there with a WF kart. I am trying to drum together a F200, well see what happens. I would love it if some F2's would make the trip. My self and a fellow race (SM female) will be making the trip for sure. Time is already off from work. Lets hope the weather plays nice. It looks like 9 WF's have already pre registered.

I'm not sure any of the F200 guys are interested in going to Infineon with the possible exception of Scott S. Although, if he does go it might be with his Vampire.
WFs should have a very good turnout. With the 9 already registered, you, your friend, me and possibly Anton/Leo, Luis, etc. we could easily be talking about a 15 kart field. Should be some really good competition with Brien and Chris running-they have 3 Duffys between them.

Well Scott S. We hope to see your F-2 out there. Weather permitting there will be two from Santa Maria. Brad, for WF's again weather permitting there should be 3 Santa Maria WF Drivers, one of which is a 16 girl who is a IKF expert.

Rear axle bent from the Gold Rush race at Dixon and I don't have the funds for another one right now. Also need to spend money on xmas gifts right now and don't have the spare funds for what it takes to road race. Even if I'm sponsored in at half price from a NCK member, its still too much right now. I think next year I will budget for it so I won't keep being in this same predicament. Last year was the same way. So I'll just be there to watch again. Plus I'm goin kinda stir crazy after my season ended so I need to get outta the house. No way am I gonna do some door-buster shopping thing when I could be at the track.

Brad was in the mix with the 15 kart fields. Corey and Taylor from Santa Maria were fighting for the lead in all of the races. Taylor (16 yr old girl) won the WF Heavy and WF Medium races. Unfortunately, Brad kept having to start from the back of the grid and working hard to get up to the front or middle of the pack. Registering at the track on Saturday morning was a serious disadvantage because they just add you on to the end and make you start at the back of every race (sucked!) But it was very exciting to watch the 15 kart field race around the track in lock step the entire race. Plus the sound was magnificent as usual. It was really great seeing everyone and I hope to try some RR'ng next season. -PaulV#99

Difference at the line between Taylor and I for the win was less than .08 according to the results..... man i gotta loose some weight. lol. It was a fantastic race, karts went from first to 15 in just a couple of turns. I lost a fuel filter while leading in race 2, but brad you gotta spell your torque secret with that WF!!

Wow, what an exciting day of racing THAT was. And I MEAN racing. Holy crap. Normally there are 6 or 8 of us out there but with 15-16 of us it was pretty much insane. I know I personally saw us going at least 5 wide numerous times (someone else said it was 7 wide). As Paul said, I had to start at the back from each race which pretty much sucked. Although, it did give me a chance to kind of get my feet wet running with such a large pack. Just as I'm starting to feel comfortable with the bumping and banging Chris got loose going down the carousel and couldn't chase it up the hill as it were because he had people inside, outside, pretty much everywhere. So I see the tire smoke and say Ohhhhhh F. Everyone scatters. In trying to avoid the melee I get a wheel off the track and then straight to out of control. LMAO I'm spinning around in the grass going uphill by this point. I see my back number panel fly up about 20 feet. Oh lord. I back into someone else who also went for the off track excursion and come to a stop. Manage to free myself and start rolling down the hill sideways aiming for my number panel. Pick up the number panel on the fly and I'm off again! LOL Unfortunately by this point I'm at least 30 seconds behind the leaders. The absolutely amazing this is Chris had his front bumper totally smashed by someone trying to avoid the accident. But, by getting hit the way he did it had the effect of swinging him around and he got pointed in the right direction....and he ultimately WON the race!! Next race was a little better but was a very screwy race. Luis managed to hit a couple of cones on pit exit at the beginning of the race. So for the rest of the race we were dodging cones at turn 1. THEN someone spins in the same location and LEAVES THEIR KART IN THE MIDDLE OF THE d**n TRACK! Managed to get up to around 2nd by a little past midway of the race. But by this time the flag man is waving a constant yellow for the kart/cones in turn one. Only one person I talked to even saw a white flag for the race. Apparently he was holding it down to the side while waving the yellow. Last race was the most fun of the day. The lead pack of seven got broken up by a couple KTs into a 3/4 pack. It took a while for the 4 of us to finally put some distance between us and the KTs and by that time the lead pack was too far ahead. Of course it doesn't help that while the lead 3 were nose to tail, the 4 of us were playing grab ass with each other which had the effect of slowing us down. But I was happy with a 4th place finish. Actually, I was more than happy to just come home in one piece! Definitely a learning experience. I'm thinking about going to the Grand Nats next year and running with large packs is a severe pucker enhancer let me tell ya! Thanks Paul for being my crew chief for the day. It was also nice to see the rest of you guys that came out to provide moral support. I appreciate it. ;D And Cory, don't be blowing smoke up my butt about torque secrets. You need to share some of YOUR secrets!!
