This is why I don't work on my kart. Everything running good but now I have a cracked head and it needs to be replaced. Does anyone one have an F200 head they want to sell. Otherwise I am ordering parts.

Bummer Ron! Is that a standard failure on F200s or were you just unlucky. Scoots has a spare crank to give away, but you'll have to glue it back together.

I am just unlucky. It hasn't been running top notch but it has been relatively competitive. I was tearing it down, cleaning, and adjusting as I go, (which I NEVER do) and I noticed the crack at the spark plug. As I investigated further a chunk broke off. It appears as if it was about ready to let go.

I had a spare head (only part left after I airated my last F200) but I gave it to Brad42. Not sure if he still has it but he is obviously not running F200s either as he has moved onto WF. Speaking of WF.... Sorry about your loss. It always sucks.

I don't like changing classes mid stream. I have zero chance to catch you veteran WF'ers. But if I get my act together on the F200 I have an outside, possible, and slim chance of giving Scoots a run for his money.
I have my eye on a F200 that I will try and pick up tomorrow. If not, I am contacting someone about a new head tomorrow morning. Other option new F200 but then I have to build it.
Does anyone have a WF for sale?

Let me check to see if I still have the Wunderhead, or if it went with my 2 motors when I sold them.

If I have to spend too much I may just go to the dark side of WF, or is that the light side. email me skydivingrlc at yahoo dot com

So what is the status of your head Ron? Still cracked?? Oh, and how is your motor??? Sorry...couldn't resist Oh man I was laughing so hard I could hardly stand it. I currently have a few options. I am waiting for Todd to email me to see what option he has. I am leaning toward my options with Scott B. As for the engine I think it is okay. I am not sure at this juncture. If I get a head and I have other problems, my gamble will not have paid off. But with my luck this year, if I buy more than just the head the short block is probably just fine.

I am trying to locate a valve spring compressor tool for working on the F200 head. There are so many different types, but most are too big for kart use. Any ideas which one to purchase, and where to buy one.

How stiff are the springs ? Have you tried just pushing them by hand ?
