I had a blast today despite not being that quick. Other people had some exciting times as well. Video to follow in a day of so, but here's a picture from the first lap of Heat 2. I'll leave the others to explain.

Probably the blue kart on the left rear, got into Rich, and then Brad tried to get around with wild abandon and almost flipped his kart.
Now I have to do my line-up for the game tomorrow.

I hope Ron is right. My video is so short and narrow in focus that I cannot tell what really happened. I will post the videos soon. By the time of the posted picture my hands are off the wheel and my front tires are pointing in different directions!
Great time at the race though. Hot tough weekend. I never work so hard for my finishing postion in a long time. Great people at the club. Thanks for all your help Dan
Does anybody have the link to the MyLaps results? I did a quick search and came up with nothing

I have to be right. The BLUE kart is always at fault! Right Brad?

OK, I got a video to upload in HD. Without being biased by watching Simon's video yet. I can tell you I still have no idea how I ended up facing the direction I was in the middle of the corner. I was more worried about getiing into and under Jeff in front of me. Then it felt like I was hit and next thing I know Brads driving up and over my nose Lots of great racing in the other heats youtu.be/lnFihyrM5C0

Well of course I was driving up and over your nose. That was all a part of my grand plan. I figured if I drove around on two wheels and my head I'd have an outstanding opportunity to win the race. Plus there was the added bonus of bent axle.
What I remember was driving around, minding my own business, (driving straight for the oak tree turn) and them blamo. Running the video in slo-mo is quite interesting. Looking forward to Simon's.

My video is rendering at the moment, but has a couple of hours to go, so will be online sometime tomorrow.
