Scott and I were talking last night about needing to pick up some new tires for next year. Anyone else need to buy some new rubber for next year too? If so, I wonder if we can put together an order that is big enough that might allow us to get some kind of price break from one of the local shops? If you would be interested in picking up some tires respond to this thread (along with a guestimate of how many sets you might want). If we do a group thing I'll pick up at least 2 (maybe 3) sets if we can get some sort of break. If we don't do the group buy I'll just buy one set and replace as necessary.

With a group buy I would also get at least 2 sets.

Has anyone seen the rules for this year??? Is it stil gonna be bridgestones with the wka rule book? Do we hqave to join wka Rules for the WF will be the IKF set (YKCs). The clone rules are pretty much done (based mostly on the AKRA rules set) and if I remember correctly those are YKCs as well. F200s go by the Burris rule set which means either Burris 44s or 55s are the legal tire.

I would take 3 sets. (If Brad is having two sets, I need three!)
Anyone know where to dispose of old tires ? I've got a massive pile in the garage.

I took all my tires to a free disposal day at the dump. they wanted $5 a tire and then they saw that i had 50 of them... so they let me dump them for free.

Anyone know where to dispose of old tires ? I've got a massive pile in the garage. Another option is to full them up with concrete and take'em up to Reno with us. I'm sure they will sell like hot cakes as Easy-up weights to all the newbies who haven't yet experienced the ahhhhhh "Reno Rush"! In fact, I think I'll take 4 please. ;D

I've never bought a new set of tires! being a clone driver I'm not sure I'd even know what to do with a new set. most likely be afraid to get them dirty, but OK I'm game. but my head still hurts, think I might have a better chance at passing the second place driver? not that I'd know what place I was in, just asking.

Where do you guy's stand on this tire order? Have you got a source yet, and what kind of price break did you get?
