OK - so just to get this straight. YKC is current racing homologation in either 6" or 7.1" (clones). These will be replaced by YLC but only in 7.1". Folks say 7.1" YKC is too much grip already and we going to the 7.1" YLC!!!!
I'm still running on an old set of 7.1" YHCs and also bought a brand new set of 6" (180mm) rims but sounds like the 6" rims will just be good for rain tires from now on?! Not sure what to get next. Maybe a 6" set of YKCs and 7" YLCs.

I can't believe that the cadets (HPV 1 & 2) are going to run 7.1's, so the 6in wide size should be available. World formulas also are fastest on 6" wide.
On the other hand, if some boneheads decide that all of us need to be on 7.1's, as soon as we buy rims to match it is no big deal as long as we are all the same.
